Volunteers

Most of the work recently has been done on the Kansas Historical Quarterly project:

Gardner Smith has been working on a 24-part series of articles titled "Ferries in Kansas."

Patty Passmore is transcribing ""A Winter on the Plains, 1870-1871--The Memoirs of Lawson Cooke."

Teresa Smith has taken on "The Migration of the Russian-Germans to Kansas."

Sean Furniss is working on the second and third installments of the three-part article, "Letters of John and Sarah Everett, 1854-1864."

R. Griffin is marching ahead with the article "Rebecca Visits Kansas and Custer," after already finishing "The West Breaks in General Custer."

Other volunteers who have contributed to the Quarterly: Elizabeth Lawrence, Jim Scheetz, Debbie Butler, and Lynn Nelson.
