![]() Most of the work recently has been done on the Kansas Historical Quarterly project: Gardner Smith has been working on a 24-part series of articles titled "Ferries in Kansas." Patty Passmore is transcribing ""A Winter on the Plains, 1870-1871--The Memoirs of Lawson Cooke." Teresa Smith has taken on "The Migration of the Russian-Germans to Kansas." Sean Furniss is working on the second and third installments of the three-part article, "Letters of John and Sarah Everett, 1854-1864." R. Griffin is marching ahead with the article "Rebecca Visits Kansas and Custer," after already finishing "The West Breaks in General Custer." Other volunteers who have contributed to the Quarterly: Elizabeth Lawrence, Jim Scheetz, Debbie Butler, and Lynn Nelson. |
