| On Main Street in Virgil. This was orginally the bank, then the Post Office. It sat vacant for many years until a local resident turned it into a pub. A hand written scrawl on the backroom wall notes a robbery of the bank in 1922. Bill has preserved that for visitors to see. Beer, pool, burritos, and local chat provides the ambience. I've been here many times, and to me it has been a savior, because the nearest place to get a cold beer outside of Virgil is at least 20 miles. |
